Shipping, delivery and store pick up policies. 

How do I know if I am eligible for local delivery or national shipping?

Our service area for deliveries covers 10 miles from our store location at Coconut Grove (2833 Bird Ave, Miami, FL 33133). Orders of $250 or more qualify for local free delivery. In the United States, we can ship to the following States via UPS:

Is there a minimum purchase amount on orders?

Local deliveries and national UPS shipping require a minimum order amount of $29.99. In-store pick up orders have no minimum purchase amount.

Do I need to be home to receive my order?

An adult 21 years older with a valid government issued picture must be present to receive the order.

  • If your delivery is local and no one is home to receive the order, the driver will return the order to us There will be a re-delivery fee charged for additional attempts.
  • If your order has been shipped via UPS, the carrier will attempt to deliver 3 times, if all attempts fail the items will be returned to us. If necessary, we recommend shipping to your place of work.

When will my order ship?

For orders shipped via UPS, all orders received business days before 1:00 pm (EST) will ship the same day. All other orders will ship the following business day.
For local deliveries, orders placed Monday – Friday before 5:00 pm (EST) will be delivered same day before 7:00 pm (EST). If placed after 5:00 pm (EST), orders will be received the next business day. If you will not be at home to receive your order, please contact info@happywineonline.com or call (305) 460 – 9939 to schedule a convenient delivery time frame.

How long will it take to receive my order?

For orders shipped via UPS, depending on your location and the time we receive your order, shipping times may take anywhere from 1 – 7 business days. Once your order ships, we will email you all shipping information including tracking numbers.
If you are in the Miami, Fl area you will get your order in 1 business day if your order is placed before 1:00 pm (EST).

Are shipments insured?

We cannot guarantee that every order will be insured. Please send us an email to info@happywineonline.com to request insurance when placing an order.

What happens when the weather is too hot?

During summer months in Florida some days can get extremely hot. Due to this we may hold a wine shipment to protect the quality of the items you have purchased. If we decide to temporarily hold your shipment, we will notify you by email of this situation. Unless we are authorizing by you in writing to release the items, we will place your order for shipping on a later date.

When will my order be ready for in-store pick-up?

All orders received Monday – Friday by 5:00 pm (EST) should be available for same day pick-up one hour after the order is received. You will receive email confirmation once your order is ready. Orders received after 5:00 pm (EST) will be available for store pick-up the following business day. Please revise our store hours for your pick-up.

How long will you hold my in-store pick-up order?

We will hold your in-store pick-up for 1 week. If you wish to pick-up your order at a later day, please contact us at info@happywineonline.com or call (305) 460 – 9939 to make other arrangements. If you do not pick-up your order within the pick-up period, a 15% restocking fee will be charged, and the difference, and it will be issued as a store credit for future purchases.

What do I need to pick-up my in-store order?

You need to bring your government issued picture ID in order to verify that you are 21 years or older, and to verify you are authorize to pick-up this order. 

Can I have someone else pick-up my in-store order?

You may add a third party pick-up during the check-out process, indicating their name and phone number. Anyone picking-up an order must be 21 years of age or older, and we require a government issued picture ID to verify age and that they are the person authorized to pick-up the order.

Orders Returns and Cancellations

Can I return my order?

All our sales are final, and we do not accept the return or exchange of any wine product purchased from us.
Current and recently released wines will be accepted for return only if they are spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption. If this is the case, please recork the bottle as tightly as possible and pack it safely in a box. At least two thirds of the bottle contents must be left to accept the return for defect verification. To return de bottle for inspection, you will have to contact us via email at info@happywineonline.com or by phone at (305) 460 – 9939 to arrange pick-up of items.
Older vintages or library wines are purchased at the buyer’s risk. Happy Wine in the Groves makes every effort to obtain wines that have been appropriately handled and transported. Our older vintage and library wines are sourced from leading importers and distributors, and all wines have been carefully inspected before selling to ensure integrity in each one of our products. All older vintages and library wines are purchased at the buyer’s risk, and we will not accept any returns on these items.
Because our items are perishable and very susceptible to storage conditions, any return claim will only be accepted within 30 days of your delivery date. To be eligible for a return,  you must contact us at (305) 460 – 9939, explain the reason for your return request and receive instructions from us regarding the return process.

Can I cancel my order?

If an order needs to be canceled, please email us at info@happywineonline.com or call us at (305) 460 – 9939 before 4:00 pm (EST) on the day your order was placed for cancellation and to receive a refund. If the order has already shipped, a 15% cancellation and re-stocking fee will apply, and any shipping fees paid to UPS will be non-refundable.
